2012 Memorial Walk

We are set to have our first Memorial Walk on October 14th, 2012 at the Southampton Township park in Shippensburg, PA.  We are looking for ideas and volunteers.  It has been almost 9 years since we lost Connor.  Long ago I realized that one of the hardest parts of losing Connor is the fact that no one ever mentions him.  I think of him every single day.  I want this Memorial Walk to be a day for other bereaved parents to honor their child and to have that child's name out there for everyone to see, as well as a way to raise funds for our charity.  Unfortunately, there is never a shortage of families that need our help.  So please email me if you can help or if you have any ideas to make this a successful event.  adele@connorkirbymemorial.org.  Thanks!!

John and I would love to help with the walk as volunteers if you would like. John is an EMT, so you would have a medical person available.

John and I lost two children within 7 months time; Jasmine and Dragan Lewis. I also lost a son when I was in college, Jeremy Strine.

Please let us know. We would be honored to help you with the walk.
